About Me
Kris Dale is a multi award winning film composer/multi-instrumentalist based in Atlanta, GA. His music is characterized by blending retro-inspired aesthetics with modern cinematic sounds.
Kris recently scored "Old Man Slaughter" directed by Sean Ashley for which he created a jazz noir score to set the mood for a dark, lonely city infested with crime. For "War of the Gods" Kris created a mysterious piano contrasting an epic orchestra score to highlight the differences between the worlds of mortals and immortals. This film has won 3 international film festival awards.
After earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Studio Music and Jazz, he toured the world as bassist for many artists including Col. Bruce Hampton (grandfather of the jam band scene), Bernadette Seacrest (internationally renowned jazz singer) and country music legend Corey Smith. When not in the studio or on the road, Kris can be found cooking up something in the kitchen to gather the inspiration necessary to bring boundless enthusiasm and energy to your next project.
