About Me

Kris Dale is a multi award winning film composer/multi-instrumentalist based in Atlanta, GA. His music is characterized by blending retro-inspired aesthetics with modern cinematic sounds.

Kris recently scored "Fatal Desires" for Gatorblade films and created 1990's inspired Cinemax late night music for this erotic thriller. For "Old Man Slaughter" directed by Sean Ashley for which he created a jazz noir score to set the mood for a dark, lonely city infested with crime. Most recently Kris won Best Score for his work on "El Ron" at the 2024 Buried Alive Film Festival.​

After earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Studio Music and Jazz, he toured the world as bassist for many artists including Col. Bruce Hampton (grandfather of the jam band scene), Bernadette Seacrest (internationally renowned jazz singer) and country music legend Corey Smith. When not in the studio or on the road, Kris can be found cooking up something in the kitchen to gather the inspiration necessary to bring boundless enthusiasm and energy to your next project.
